Amtrak Capitol Limited train 29 crawls through Cumberland, MD with CSXT GP39-2 4302 leading. Due to a mechanical failure involving the traction motors on P42DC 50 leaving Martinsburg, this engine was dropped by CSX train X371 for use pulling P029 to Cumberland where brand new Siemens ALC-42 310 was fired up for its maiden voyage powering the rest of the trip. 

CSX released a SD70Ac rebuild wearing a special paint scheme tribute to Operation Lifesaver, engine number 4568.Seen here on what is this engines fourth assignment but only second time in the lead position on train M31624 at Piedmont, WV. They originated in Chicago and are approaching their final destination of Cumberland, MD.
