Ten Amtrak Horizon cars travelled across the Norfolk Southern's Southern Tier line from Buffalo to Painted Post, NY for handoff to the Bath and Hammandsport Railroad. The cars are going to the Alstom (former Bombardiar) plant in Kanona to be evaluated for return to service after being in long term storage.

Something about the Alco engines of the Livonia Avon & Lakeville Railroad and Amtrak equipment seems to be a repeat subject. Similar to the WNYP moving future Acela train-sets to Olean, sister railroad Bath and Hammandsport used their Alco C424s to transport the Horizon cars to Alstom in Kanona, NY.
